Tbh they're mostly MGS and classic movie references but COD takes from classic movies alot too so I guess there's a bit of overlap lol. Unironically though I haven't played any of the Black Ops games so I was surprised to hear that everybody thought the Afghan sequence was inspired by it when it was more of a MGSV callback to me lmao, like Naomi's wearing an outfit inspired by Venom Snake specifically there.
